EconoCrafts Shipping Information

Plain-English Summary

We ship fast, so your craft projects arrive on time. In-stock orders usually leave our warehouse within 1–2 business days (excluding holidays). Standard free/flat-rate shipping generally arrives within 2–7 business days once shipped.

Orders $700 or more delivered to a single address in the contiguous United States ship freight-free via standard ground service. Oversized or overweight items may be excluded from free freight, and restrictions can apply.

Expedited orders placed before 1:00 pm EST ship the same business day (Monday–Friday). Orders placed after 1:00 pm EST or on weekends ship the next business day.

You’ll receive order and tracking information via email, and you can always check order status from your account page.

1) Where we ship

EconoCrafts currently ships to:

  • The contiguous United States
  • Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and APO/FPO addresses (some restrictions and surcharges may apply)
  • Select international destinations (availability and rates shown at checkout)

Not all products can ship to every location due to size, weight, carrier rules, or customs restrictions. Any such limitations will be noted at checkout whenever possible.

2) Order processing times

For most in-stock items, orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

  • Orders placed on Friday after 1:00 pm EST, Saturday, or Sunday begin processing on the next business day.
  • During peak seasons, sales events, or unexpected closures, processing times may be slightly longer.
  • Custom, special-order, or drop-ship items may have different processing times, which will be communicated when possible.

Out-of-stock items are shipped out as soon as they are received in our warehouse.

3) Shipping methods & delivery estimates

Available shipping methods and estimated delivery windows will be displayed at checkout based on your shipping address and the items in your cart.

Standard / Free / Flat-Rate Shipping

  • Transit time is typically 2–7 business days from the time your order leaves our warehouse.
  • Rural areas, remote locations, or weather/carrier issues may add extra days.

Expedited Shipping

  • Options such as 2-day or 3-day services may be available at checkout.
  • Delivery estimates are calculated in business days after shipment.

Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees, as they depend on carrier performance and factors outside our control (weather, carrier delays, peak seasons, etc.).

4) Shipping costs & free freight

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your order total, weight, destination, and selected shipping method.

Standard Shipping Rates (Contiguous United States)

  • Orders $0–$73.00: Flat rate of $10.95
  • Orders $73.01–$699.99: Shipping is 15% of the order subtotal
  • Orders $700+: FREE FREIGHT to one address (standard ground)

Free Freight on Large Orders

Orders $700 or more delivered to one address in the contiguous United States are shipped freight-free via standard ground service.

Please note:

  • EconoCrafts reserves the right to exclude free freight on oversized or overweight items.
  • Restrictions may apply based on product type, shipping location, and carrier limitations.
  • Any exclusions or surcharges will be disclosed during checkout whenever possible.

For orders shipping outside the contiguous U.S. or internationally, additional shipping charges, duties, taxes, or fees may apply.

5) Out-of-stock & backordered items

If an item you ordered is temporarily out of stock:

  • We will notify you as soon as possible with options (ship later, substitute, or cancel).
  • Out-of-stock items are shipped as soon as they are received at our warehouse.
  • If we are unable to fulfill your order for any reason, we will let you know right away.

6) Order tracking & shipment updates

You will receive an email confirmation when your order is placed and another email with tracking information once your order ships (for trackable services).

You can also:

  • Log in to your EconoCrafts account to view your order history and status.
  • Use the carrier’s tracking link to follow your shipment’s progress.

If you have not received tracking information within a reasonable time after the processing window, please contact us so we can help.

7) Expedited shipping

Need your order faster? When available, expedited options (such as 2-day or 3-day services) will appear at checkout.

  • Orders with expedited shipping placed before 1:00 pm EST ship the same business day (Monday–Friday).
  • Expedited orders placed after 1:00 pm EST ship the next business day.
  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays ship on the next business day.

Expedited shipping charges are non-refundable once the order has shipped, even if the carrier experiences delays beyond our control.

8) Oversized, overweight & freight shipments

Some items (such as bulk cases, large cartons, or heavy products) may be shipped by a freight carrier or incur additional handling charges.

  • These items may be excluded from free freight, even on orders over $700.
  • Additional delivery services (inside delivery, lift gate, limited-access delivery, etc.) may incur additional fees.
  • Freight deliveries typically require an adult to receive and sign for the shipment.

If your order includes items requiring special freight arrangements, our team may contact you to confirm details before shipment.

9) PO boxes, schools, camps & special addresses

Many of our customers are schools, camps, after-school programs, and community organizations. To keep deliveries smooth:

  • Please provide the organization name and any necessary attention line or department.
  • Some carriers cannot deliver to PO Boxes; in those cases, a physical street address is required.
  • For seasonal locations (like summer camps), ensure someone is available to receive packages during the expected delivery window.

10) Lost, damaged, or delayed shipments

Once an order leaves our facility, it is in the carrier's care. However, we’re always happy to help if something goes wrong.

Damaged Packages

  • Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
  • If items arrive damaged, please contact us within 10 days of delivery.
  • Include your order number and photos of the damaged items and packaging so we can assist quickly.

Lost or Late Shipments

  • If tracking shows “delivered” but you can’t locate your package, check with your front office, neighbors, or mailroom first.
  • If you still can’t locate it, contact us, and we’ll help work with the carrier to investigate.
  • Carrier investigations and claims are subject to the carrier’s policies and timelines.

Risk of loss passes to you upon our delivery of the order to the carrier, but we’ll always do our best to help you resolve delivery issues.

11) International orders

For customers outside the United States, available destinations and shipping options will be displayed at checkout.

  • All duties, taxes, customs fees, and brokerage charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
  • International transit times can vary widely depending on destination and customs processing.
  • Some products may not be eligible for international shipment due to size, weight, or restrictions.

International shipping charges and any related fees are non-refundable once the order has shipped, except where required by law.

12) Order changes & cancellations

We process orders quickly! If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • You have approximately one hour after placing your order to request changes or cancellation.
  • After that window, we cannot guarantee we’ll be able to modify or cancel the order, especially if it has already entered processing or shipped.

If your order has already shipped, any changes must be handled under our Return, Refund & Exchange Policy.
