Kwik Stix - Broad (96 Pack)

Say goodbye to messy paintbrushes, water cups, and long drying times with Kwik Stix - Broad, vibrant, washable solid tempera paint sticks that glide smoothly across paper, cardboard, wood, and more, delivering beautiful, paint-like color that dries in about 90 seconds!

Big, Bold Color Without the Painting Mess!

Imagine giving children the vibrant colors and satisfying coverage of traditional tempera paint without setting out brushes, filling water cups, preparing paint trays, or spending valuable activity time cleaning up afterward. With Kwik Stix Broad Tempera Paint Sticks, that creative experience becomes wonderfully simple! Just remove the cap, twist up the paint stick, and start creating beautiful artwork in seconds.

These innovative solid tempera paint sticks combine the convenience of a glue stick with the colorful results of traditional paint. Their broad tips produce thick, smooth strokes that cover larger areas quickly, making them especially useful for posters, murals, signs, colorful backgrounds, and creative art projects. Unlike ordinary crayons or markers, Kwik Stix deliver rich, paint-like color while eliminating the need for traditional painting equipment.

One of the biggest advantages is their incredibly fast drying time. Kwik Stix dry in approximately 90 seconds, allowing participants to complete projects, add additional details, and prepare artwork for display without waiting through lengthy drying periods. This is particularly helpful in schools, after-school programs, and summer camps where activities need to fit into busy schedules.

The broad-tip design makes these paint sticks a fantastic choice for young artists and large-scale projects. Children can create sweeping lines, colorful shapes, wide stripes, and vibrant backgrounds with smooth, consistent coverage. Instead of repeatedly dipping a brush into paint, they can focus on expressing their ideas, experimenting with colors, and enjoying the creative process.

Kwik Stix are also impressively versatile. Their washable solid tempera formula works on a variety of surfaces, including paper, poster board, cardboard, wood, canvas, and fabric. This flexibility allows activity leaders to use the same convenient art supply for everything from colorful classroom posters and camp banners to wooden decorations, canvas artwork, and creative mixed-media projects. For fabric projects, the paint should be treated as decorative rather than permanent or laundry-resistant unless separately tested.

The assortment includes 96 broad paint sticks in classic colors such as white, yellow, orange, red, pink, light green, dark green, blue, brown, and black. This versatile palette gives participants plenty of options for landscapes, animals, seasonal decorations, abstract designs, educational posters, and imaginative artwork. Children can experiment with warm and cool colors, create patterns, and explore how different color combinations affect the appearance of their finished projects.

For teachers and program directors, the convenient stick format helps simplify preparation, distribution, and cleanup. Participants can begin creating almost immediately, and there are no brushes to rinse or paint containers to refill. The washable, non-toxic formula makes Kwik Stix a practical choice for supervised children's art activities, while the broad tips encourage confident, expressive strokes.

With 96 paint sticks in one pack, Kwik Stix Broad are an excellent choice for schools, preschools, after-school programs, summer camps, recreation centers, libraries, senior centers, churches, Vacation Bible School programs, and creative family activities. Whether you're organizing a large group art session or stocking a busy craft room, these colorful paint sticks make it easier to spend more time creating and less time cleaning!

How to Get Started With Kwik Stix Broad

Begin by selecting a painting surface and arranging your Kwik Stix colors within easy reach. Remove the cap from your chosen paint stick and twist the base to expose a small amount of solid tempera paint. There's no need to prepare brushes, water cups, or paint palettes, so participants can begin creating almost immediately.

Apply the paint stick directly to your surface using smooth strokes. The broad tip makes it easy to cover larger sections with vibrant color. Experiment with wide lines, colorful shapes, stripes, and overlapping designs. For more detailed artwork, use the edge of the paint stick carefully or combine your project with markers after the paint has dried.

Allow painted areas to dry for approximately 90 seconds under normal conditions. Drying time may vary depending on the surface, paint thickness, and environment. Once dry, participants can add more colors, draw additional details, or attach suitable decorations. For group sessions, encourage children to organize their materials and recap the paint sticks after use.

When the activity is complete, twist the paint stick back down and replace the cap securely to help keep it ready for the next project. Finished artwork can be displayed on bulletin boards, incorporated into classroom decorations, or taken home as a colorful keepsake. For fabric or specialty surfaces, test a small area first to confirm the desired finish and durability.
